Supported brokers
Foliograph connects to the Interactive Brokers infrastructure, which is why introducing brokers whose accounts run on IBKR are supported alongside IBKR itself.
How the connection works
Foliograph reads data from IBKR in two ways: via the TWS API (local connection to the running Trader Workstation) and via the IBKR Flex Web Service (fetching Flex queries by token, without a running TWS). Both paths are necessary for the full feature set. With introducing brokers, they are generally available exactly as with IBKR directly, because the accounts run on the same platform.

If your broker runs accounts on Interactive Brokers infrastructure and gives you TWS access or Flex queries, Foliograph will generally work there too. In doubt: try it free for 30 days or just ask.
Frequently asked questions
Does Foliograph work with CapTrader?
Yes. CapTrader accounts run on the Interactive Brokers infrastructure. Both the TWS API and Flex queries are available - Foliograph works with them just like with an IBKR account.
Do I need a running TWS?
No. Via the Flex Web Service, Foliograph fetches your executions even without a running TWS - a Flex token from the Client Portal is enough. Live market data (indicators, quotes) however comes through the TWS connection.
What about BANX or FXFlat?
BANX has been called Estably since July 2023 and continues there. FXFlat has been taken over by Trading 212. Whether and for which existing or new customers TWS, Flex queries and the IBKR connection are available is best checked directly with FXFlat.
Does Foliograph support brokers without an IBKR relationship?
No. Foliograph specialises in the IBKR infrastructure.
